The role as a Product Owner in the Imaging & Services team
Imaging & Services main focus is to build and maintain competence within the area of imaging (camera and video) and within Smart home and Partner Integration domain such as Arlo. Overall Imaging & services is the owner of many supporting backend services for MyMobile / MyPages together with the group-wide integration towards Arlo.
As a Product Owner in Images & Services you will be responsible for the backlog and supporting the team with prioritization. You will also support the developers in decisions, new initiatives and the driving of those forward in order to best achieve goals and mission.
Additional to driving the Imaging and Services backlog, the role includes maintaining and continuing to build strong relationships with stakeholders, support the Area roadmap and contributing to the operational structure based on business needs and company strategy. We think that it's important that you are continuously developing your own skills and assist the team and other Product Owners develop theirs. You will also develop partnerships with third-party suppliers, such as Arlo, our camera partner.
The release planning will be your responsibility, as well as making sure that the plans are followed and implemented. We would like you to drive our daily morning meetings, quarterly planning and represent the team in the release management meetings.
You will have great freedom to shape the role, depending on your previous experiences, your wishes for professional growth and the team's needs. The team is a mature and dynamic, highly skilled and proud, team with in-depth expert knowledge of video, imaging, smart home solutions for mobile and web applications and partner integrations. This will give you great opportunities to learn from your colleagues in the team. The team is a cross-functional (agile) team and includes Developers, Testers, System Architects.
Are you who we are looking for?
Most importantly, you are enthusiastic about people, leadership and software development, from which you have at least 10 years of experience.
You are a leader who can easily move between helicopter view, going down and up again. You understand when to back off, back up and back down as well as when to drive forward. In short, you are pragmatic.
You are a true team player with an enthusiastic and forward-driving mindset.
As an excellent communicator (English is our corporate language), you understand that listening is just as important as talking (although perhaps more challenging). You are approachable and available to the team for questions, exchange of ideas, information and experiences.
You don't hesitate to drive necessary changes and make decisions.
