About the job
Our purpose is to develop and deliver Infotainment, Connectivity, Car Cloud Platform and world-class digital user experience as well as Complete Vehicle Diagnostics system and E2E platform for diagnostic monitoring & vehicle data collection.
An essential product part is the Connectivity Platform that provides global connectivity for Volvo cars. It needs to always provide the IP connectivity to the vehicle with the right quality of experience. We will increase our effort to build abilities to continuously evolve, test and monitor our IP connectivity and have assigned that responsibility to a small agile product team that now needs a Product Owner.
Your responsibility as Product Owner is to develop and prioritize a product backlog that fulfils the needs of the stakeholders and ambitions of the development team throughout the product lifecycle. We also expect you to contribute to the ART Product Management team that create and deliver the Connectivity Platform vision and roadmap.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for You with at least a BSc. in Software Engineering, or similar, and have a few years of experience from a role within a development team, business analyst or even product owner. Preferable you have worked with IP and cellular technologies such as 3G/4G/5G.
We will leverage data analytic and monitoring frameworks, so it is an advantage if you can bring some experience.
The development team, Volvo Cars and suppliers we work with are based around the globe, we see that you are fluent in the English language, a good communicator and enjoys collaboration far outside your own team.
For you to fully enjoy this opportunity, we believe that you have a genuine interest of working and developing in a product area that combines the automotive and telecommunication industry. You embrace agile methodologies, collaboration and are eager to learn and develop new competencies and practices within your role as product owner.
