We are looking for a passionate and driven engineer to join our Product Optimization & Quality team. The position as Product Optimization & Quality Engineer is located within R&D at our Innovation Center in Malmö, Sweden.
You and your team work closely with the development teams, stakeholders, project and product managers in creating our next generation alarm systems for the connected home. With innovation and quality in mind as well as a strong business focus, you'll evolve and optimize the customer experience of Verisure's alarm and smart home solutions going forward.

We always strive to optimize the customer user experience as well as securing a cost-effective and flawless Operation.
The role as Product Optimization & Quality Engineer requires documented experience from product and/or service development in technical complex systems.
You and your team will play an instrumental role in our development projects where you and the team are focusing on:
* on optimizing the products and services in the development phase
* analyzing the behavior and products and services in the field and operation
* analyzing, monitor and support the development projects in the manufacturing phase
* prepare and support the projects making sure that we can certify and validate our products properly
Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a person with a genuine interest in technology development and interest in technologies within the connected home (IoT) and alarm systems. We believe you are curious, driven, have an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset that always want to innovate and improve. You never settled for the status quo.
In collaboration with Stakeholders and the Engineering teams you will:
* Bring quality and optimizations insights into our development projects
* Secure and drive a quality plan defining how we can determine whether we are successful or not
* Work closely with all Country Operations securing that we constantly work with optimizing and tuning our products and services to a best in class level of quality and user experience
* Gather and analyze user experiences from the operations in the field
* Ensure that lessons-learned and all relevant field data are proactively analyzed and used when developing our new products & services - securing the link between the field and the engineering teams
* Ensure global alignment around our quality goals and ways of working with quality
* Support projects in their manufacturing phase with defining the necessary quality metrics
* Ensure a proper and proactive way to secure that our products and services are certified and validated in a correct way
Required Qualifications
Minimum requirements
* Technical educational background from electronics, mechanics or software
* Experience from working with Product Development of technically complex products and systems
* Excellent analytical skills and structured in the way of working
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Positive and constructive attitude towards solving problems
* Fluent in English
Preferred requirements
* Experience of working and being responsible for Product/Service Quality and Analytics in a highly technical context
* Experience of developing and delivering consumer electronics/products and services
* Working experience in a global multi-national environment
* Experience and knowledge from working with production and manufacturing
* Experience from managing and driving products through CE and EN certifications
* Experience in agile methodologies and tools, we use Jira and Confluence among other tools.
