The Section Product & Process Engineering is part of ME and has a global responsibility for the hybrid engines in Skövde and Zhangjiakou, China. The Section's responsibility is to ensure process driven product development, to enable development of efficient and quality assured production processes.
What Will You Do?
As our next Product & Process Engineer you will develop, together with tooling Engineer and Verification Engineer, process methods through the lifecycle of the components.
You will lead cross-functional team to ensure a process-driven product development with focus on efficient and quality assured process solutions. You are also responsible to secure product commonality in all plants.
You will also:
Together with R&D create robust products (DFA/DFM) for the plants process using virtual methods.
Carry out risk analysis (FMEA) regarding product.
Support running production in quality issues.
Lead the process solution on a product changes within own area.
Monitor and verify the product and process changes at virtual and physical builds.
This position will give you the opportunity to develop your leadership competencies, continue to build on your technical skills and gain deep product knowledge, as well as building and maintaining a network that includes people from all areas in the company.
The position requires some travelling.
Who are you?
We believe you:
Have B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent competence gained by experience.
Have good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
Have experience from product- and process development.
Have experience from leading positions.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge the processes, methods, and tools (Teamcenter) at Manufacturing and Research and Development. Skills in Product Development, preferably in automotive industry, and 6 Sigma competence is also a plus.

As a person we believe you have great communication skill and collaborate well with others. We also think you are a structured person who plans and prioritize work in efficient way.
