We are now looking for the right person to fill an open position as a Product Marketing Manager in our Product & Solution Marketing team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Product and Solution Marketing is a team within Axis' Corporate Marketing department. Corporate Marketing is responsible for the global marketing strategy and planning, in accordance with the company's overall goals and business strategy.
The Product & Solution Marketing team is responsible for bringing our products and solutions to market in a successful way, by expressing our technology offerings as clearly communicated customer benefits. We develop marketing strategies, material and activities that support sales and strengthen the Axis brand.
As our product portfolio expands both within existing categories and into new areas, Product Marketing becomes increasingly important.
As Product Marketing Manager, you will be part of a team of Product Marketing Managers, and you will be responsible for marketing of cameras, encoders, capabilities and technologies in our product portfolio. You will cooperate with product management and other parts of the organization to develop marketing strategies and material that clarify to our target groups the value of our products.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop product marketing documents and deliverables, such as videos, presentations, photos, demo concepts, and writing short English marketing texts for e.g. press releases, newsletters and web pages.
• Interface with e.g. partner marketing, events, PR, marketing communications and academy teams to ensure up-to-date product information and timely distribution of product material.
• Contribute to our continuous improvement of the product launch process.
• Work with external agencies and internal marketing support functions to develop material.
• Support central and local marketing teams concerning product messaging and communication around trade shows, conferences and advertising.
The job involves traveling, approximately 5-10 days a year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven individual with experience from marketing of technology products to a demanding audience. You have also experience from developing marketing strategies, segmentation and target group analyses. You are capable of creating basic presentations and shorter English texts for newsletters and press releases.
We believe you have an education in marketing, and an interest for and understanding of technology. You are fluent in English (particularly in writing) and have competence in Microsoft Office. You are well-organized and capable of managing projects and delivering results under time pressure. You have good cooperation skills, and a solution-oriented, outgoing and open-minded personality.
