We are looking for a Product Manager within Storage Services - Backup.
The Product Manager (PM) main responsibilities are development, quality, economy and life cycle planning for the Storage Backup area. The PM will also be responsible for the delivery and support of the backup products connected to decided backup solutions attached to open platforms. The PM will be reporting to the manager for Storage Services Backup.
Key responsibilities
• Being responsible for the functionality, quality and life cycle planning of the product.
• Product planning, maintenance and development in line with Volvo IT strategically plans, business requirements and technology changes.
• Handling the budget and economy of the product.
• Establish and maintain a product team.
• Initiating product enhancement activities.
• Supply information and documentation about the product.
• Propose changes which make the product more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance costs.
Responsible that support is given according to the Operation Level Specification (OLS).
Authorized to suggest alternative solutions and point out deficiencies related to quality requirements in projects to project managers as and when necessary.
Who are you?
You are open- and service minded, have good proven leadership skills, are driven, structured and have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. You also have good knowledge about the Storage area.
