The Product Manager is main responsible for a product, MyPlace-Anywhere and Remote Workplace, it's development, quality, economy and life cycle planning, as well as the delivery and support of it. The product might very well consist of different components, in terms of functions, features and sub products. This role can have delegated functional responsibilities.
Job description:
For this position you will be responsible for the functionality, quality and life cycle planning of the product. Also you will be involved in the Product planning, maintenance and development in line with Volvo IT strategically plans, business requirements and technology changes. You will take part of the budget and economy of the specific products also provides volume information for invoicing. Another responsibility is to supply with information and documents about the products also provide education, training and installation routines and work processes.
In this job you will be participating in calculation and planning of development and operation activities and propose changes which make the product more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance costs. You will also be responsible for that support is given according to the Operation Level Specification (OLS), to Secure that 2nd level support teams follow the VISITS process and responsibility for that needed patches and bug fixes from the vendor are installed in the product.
Qualifications:
• For this position you need to have technical skills in Windows client and following knowledge:
• Windows Client
• Microsoft Windows Terminal Server
• Citrix XenApp 6 and 6.5
• Citrix Provisioning Services
• Interest in VDI (XenDesktop)
• Interest in Application Virtualization
• Microsoft Active Directory
• VMWare Server/ Windows Server 2008 R2
• Interest in Cloud Computing (advantage)
The general qualification is that you need to be a person that has the ability to learn on the fly, service minded, have high customer focus and good and proven leader skills. Also you need to have the ability to establish and maintain good relationship also work in a global, multi-cultural organization. Another qualification is that you are proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish
