This is a unique opportunity to join a new Aftermarket team focused on growth in a highly profitable and undervalued revenue stream. The newly created role of Product Manager, Wears and Retrofits, will work alongside the entire ESAB global equipment portfolio managers and regional commercial teams to drive sales and margin expansion for consumables and wear parts, ensuring we have high retention rates on our installed base. They will also develop retrofit packages for automated welding and cutting systems to extend the installed base life cycle.
You will have the opportunity to define and deploy commercial strategies that are regional specific to drive the retention of wears and define the retrofit opportunities and programmes to capitalise on this part of the market. The role is very much an open canvas to allow the correct candidate to develop their own strategies.
Qualifications
• Technical background and/or Engineering Degree
• Welding experience (essential), Cutting (desired)
• Previous experience of growth within Aftermarket
• Proven sales or product manager experience that can demonstrate delivery of growth strategies

• High communication and influencing skills
• Commercial mindset with abilities to analyse significant data and form into an executable Strategy
• Pragmatic in deployment of strategy and can successfully prioritise multiple phases
• Strong personal drive and results driven
• A person who can drive a Vision
• All-rounder, capable of developing processes and standard work and working with others to execute these
• Ability to work alongside product managers, sales and R&D to ensure new product development delivers exceptional value to customers
The position is placed in Gothenburg or any of our European or North American offices . Traveling is required.
