Icomera, a fast-growing technology company, is looking for a Product Manager Video Surveillance to join our growing team and contribute to our ambition to deliver top-class connectivity products and solutions to our customers in the transportation market.
What you will do:
As the Product Manager Video Surveillance, you will work with the product marketing team, R&D product owners, supply chain and the support organization to take new Icomera video surveillance products from market requirements capture to the introduction, through market growth and eventually product phase-out. You will be responsible for bringing new products to the market by working with the Sales and Marketing teams to analyze market requirements, prepare return-on-investment analyzes, establish product development programs, establish time schedules with R&D, supply chain and our Contract Electronics Manufacturing partners. You will work in a professional way to accomplishing product and service launches through collaboration with marketing and the regions (the UK, US, and EMEA). This will include travel both within Europe and outside.
What responsibilities this include:
• Developing, updating and implementing product lifecycle plans
• Establish and update roadmaps that are based on key stakeholder need
• Creating and managing of the Icomera video surveillance product portfolio
• Clear communication of visions and goals for existing and new products
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of products, solutions, and company offerings
• Continuous work on improving the tools, procedures and processes used for product management
What experience you have:
You have a great technical understanding of IT/Telecom as well as mobile technology and can easily understand the context, see the advantages and disadvantages and actively contribute to dialogues around various technical solutions. For this position it is valuable with experience working with public safety or with video surveillance, CCTV, and managing contracts within the area. You have had the role of Product Manager for a couple of years and are aware of what the role and responsibility entails. Of course you are accustomed to working in an international environment, that has provided insight and the ability to navigate in different countries' regulations and agreements within this area.
