Within Nordic Marketing we are looking for a Product Manager to Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings. The main purpose is to be responsible for the development and implementation of the Nordic exterior product portfolio strategy. Based on consumer, customer, competitor and category insight manage lifecycle plans and activities for the exterior categories, such as optimization of assortment, product quality, packaging optimisation and New Innovations.

Responsibilities

• Consumer, customer, competitor and category insight manage lifecycle plans and activities for the exterior categories.
• Be the product ambassador and work closely together with Project manager and brand manager to balance and secure product requirements and a winning product.
• Lead Nordic Exterior product portfolio development and innovation roadmap based on, brand architecture and strategy as well as, outlined approved Commercial plans and innovations roadmaps, and according to Global and MSU guidelines and cooperate business goals.
• In collaboration with global and local R&D as well as local regulatory team, manage and pack commercial technical information as well as secure safety data sheets and safety data labelling are up to date.
• Manage volume profit&loss on each category.
• In collaboration with brand, Sales and project secure successful launch plan.
• In collaboration with Pricing Manager and Sales be responsible of price list.
• Be the link between Sales and marketing and Technical Support and R&D regarding commercial product matters (quality, application properties etc).
• Participate in various local and global meetings such as sales, quality, technical and management meetings

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Work skills: Experience within Product Management (2-3 years) or several years of experience within the industry and with a business and winning mindset.
• Language: English (fluent), able to understand Swedish, Danish and Norwegian

We are looking for someone who is flexible and open-minded to new ideas and have an ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment without losing track on priorities. You should be able to quickly navigate between high-level planning activities and hands-on tasks. To be successful in this position you need to be a good team player and self-going doer with speed and engagement and a high level of drive and energy.

Additional Information
This is a temporary position for 12 months and reports to Nordic Innovation & Portfolio Manager. The position is located in Malmö.
