Description
Stora Enso is looking for a Product Manager in corrugated packaging business in Sweden. In the role of Product Manager your responsibility is to provide support and recommendations to BU on product mix and target product margins and analyse product profitability and adjust mix and targets accordingly. You will drive product development as well as develop the short-,mid - and long-term product portfolio.
You will work in close co-operation with sales team and provide them tools to facilitate and promote value based selling.
You will be a leader for employees in product design and pre-production, and will provide your people opportunities to perform and to contribute their best as well as learn and grow. It is important that you understand product competitive position from both technical and value perspective.
You will drive marketing according to central Marketing guidelines in Packaging Solutions and needs for the local unit, develop value propositions to our customer segments, and build our market positioning.
You will develop and execute customer events and sales promotional activities.
You will execute on brand management in BU based on Division guidelines, and be the local champion for new division projects, products and initiatives.
For this position we seek an ambitious and customer minded colleague with strong leadership skills, and drive to succeed in an international business environment.
Location is at one of our corrugated plants in either Jönköping or Skene. The position also includes some business travel. You will be a member of Corrugated Nordic management team and report to Head of Corrugated Nordic.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a result oriented mindset experienced in cross-functional collaboration. Successful candidate will have:
Excellent leadership and team working skills.
Analytical skills with strong business acumen and the ability to deliver results.
Ability to translate customer needs to product & service value proposition.
Proven track record with minimum of 5 years of mangerial experience in driving product and/or service portfolio management, and new product/service development in a multinational environment.
Experience from Stora Enso Packaging Solutions' customer industries or packaging business will be considered an advantage.
Proven track record in project management.
High proficiency in MS Powerpoint and MS Excel, other analytical tools will be considered an advantage.
Master's degree education or minimum of 5 years of similar business experience. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Market Research.
Strong communication and presentation skills - fluent Swedish and English languages, both written and spoken, are needed.
