SKF Sealing Solutions, part of SKF Automotive Division, is responsible for Seals within SKF. Within the Business Unit, the Industrial Segment sells products and solutions directly and through the Service and Industrial Divisions to a wide variety of Distributors and Customers located all over the world.
BU SKF Sealing Solutions is looking for a Product Manager for
Wheel-End/Undercarriage Products
The positions is global and the key responsibility is to support the BU SKF Sealing Solutions Industrial Segment by analyzing market needs, translating these needs into product requirements and strategies, and managing the assigned product portfolios.
The position owner will report to Mariano Aquino, Head Product Management & Marketing, Industrial Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate product line strategies by understanding and identifying customer needs, product and technology trends, market segment and industry value chains
Understand the competitiv environment
Define and formulate customer value propositions
Manage the product portfolios for current and future products and services
Interface closely with SKF colleagues form the Market Segment Management, Product Engineering (COE) and Division Sales Units
Develp and manage the NMO process
Formulate and coordinate the publication of global pricing strategies, price positioning and competitive pricing activities of assigned product portfolio,
Identify the Best Cost options in sourcing and manufacturing
Develop the promotional and communications program for the product line
Lead the development of software tools for ease of identification, application and selection
Responsible in developing the training packages for the product line for both internal and external audiences
Requirements:
Educational background and job experience:
University level degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience in product management, development and design
Knowledge and experience in Project Management
Sound experience and involvement in Industrial Products and/or Industrial Segments in any of the following disciplines: Sales Engineering, Product Development, Application Engineering, Product Marketing, Business Development and Business Engineering are required.
Some degree and involvement in Sealing technology and sealing solutions business is a plus
Previous experience in a cross-functional and international business environment
Computer literate and proficient in MS office programs like Excel, Word, Power Point and Access
