hela Sverige As a product manager you will be responsible for developing and managing Shapes engineered product program. Placement is optional.
About the position
SSAB has a long history of working together with our customers in order to upgrade products and to fully utilize the potential in high-strength steels. The result after upgrading is often a lighter product enabling more payloads, less fuel consumption and less impact on the environment.
SSAB Services is a business unit within SSAB focusing on the downstream business. The unit has several processing centers around the world but is also utilizing other sources within and outside SSAB to process and deliver products to our customers. Via these centers SSAB Service deliver components, kits for assembly and ready made products to OEM 's as part of the downstream business.
Developing and managing this product program is the responsibility of the product manager. To your help you have a cross functional development team on dotted line that you steer in well defined projects. In order to have a market driven product development you report to a steering committee consisting of SSAB Shapes business area management.

Your qualifications
We expect you to have a M.Sc. in engineering. Broad experience and expertise within structural engineering, preferably related to mobile equipment. Experience from working in product development projects and/or with project management.
Skills needed to succeed in the role are: Structured with an eye for details and able to inform and absorb complex information and deliver on short deadlines. Customer service oriented with ability to work in a decentralized changing organization with different nationalities and cultures.
Being able to master English fluently is a requirement, other languages are an advantage. Ability to travel. You are result driven, a co-player, and humble.
