MAJORITY is looking for a Product Manager - Remittance and Cross Border Services
As a Product Manager, you'll focus on one of our core product areas - the development of our remittance, mobile top-up, and calling services. Product Managers are experts in cross-functional partnership, constantly inspiring and influencing colleagues in Engineering, Design, Business, Legal, Compliance, Support, and other Product areas in order to deliver on their goals and maximize impact. Manage the delivery and discovery of innovative products that break down barriers to financial services access
Drive product development with a team of engineers and designers
Understand existing and emerging financial services ecosystem, MAJORITY's strategic position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry
Maximize efficiency and remove blockers in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Qualifications:
Experience driving complex, cross-functional product initiatives in a successful way
Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
4 years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
Experience with app-based consumer products, ideally in emerging markets or financial services/FinTech in any market type
Experience building consumer products with partner/supplier dependencies
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a humble and scrappy mindset
