Vehicle Tophat Quality & Launch team is looking for a new Product Manager Quality & Launch to the team. The position is located at Volvo Cars Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Vehicle Tophat Quality & Launch team is a shared service and stakeholder to the development teams on Product Stream Vehicle Tophat within R&D.
About us
The responsibilities of Quality & Launch are to strengthen the deliveries, with focus on quality assurance and launch of Vehicle Tophat products and functions, also manage quality issues from end customers. The team consists of employees situated in Gothenburg and in our plants worldwide.
What you'll do
Are you passionate about leading a shared service team supporting the Solution through early program, launch of new cars and running production?
* You will support the R&D teams to prioritize and take data driven decisions by leading our shared service team Quality & Launch.
* Prioritize our work together with Product Owner for Current Quality & Launch and Forward Quality and support the Solution and ART with Quality input prior to each increment.
* Collaborate, communicate with and present status towards i.e. - Solution and ART - prepare performance dialogue within the area Quality in development and Quality In field.
* Stake holders i.e. - represent Tophat towards central Quality and in Current Car Quality Arena with responsibility for related quality concerns.
* Contribute in and continuously develop our way of working.

• you have good knowledge in and network within the current quality process i.e., aftermarket, plant.
• you understand stakeholder input to prioritise urgent from less urgent issues before it reaches our team's
• you get positive energy and motivation from being part in escalated issue handling
• you have knowledge within problem-solving methodology
• .you have a positive attitude, and you possess the courage to take the initiative and drive for progress. ....you need to be comfortable engaging with others and being service minded.
Further, you are a great communicator comfortable speaking in front of other people, fluent in English, and able to create visual communication with a clear direction or message.
