Your future challenge
IFS Research & Development (R&D) has around 600 employees and is located in several countries: Sweden, Sri Lanka, UK, Poland, US, and Norway.
R&D is organized in different product groups- Technology; Service, Projects & Asset; Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Financials & Human Resources. Each product group is led by a Product Director and the product group consists of different product areas. The Product Manager is responsible for a product area and reports to the Product Director.
We are now looking for the Product Manager of R & D Projects where the Product manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining our product Project-based solutions.
As a Product Manager you are responsible to lead the Product Area and to fulfill the tasks and responsibilities defined for it.
Your Key Tasks will be:
• Product Ownership
o Product owner for the product area
o Responsible for development and communication of directions and strategy for the product area
o Contributing to the roadmap work in the Product Group and communicate the roadmap for the product area
o Responsible for executing the roadmap and start projects within the product area
• Networking internally and externally and being a clear communicator
o Establish tight contact with key customers and individuals in the IFS regions as well as within R&D
o Represent the product area internally and externally
• Staff responsibility
o Lead the Product Area management team (direct reports; Product Solution Manager, Support Manager, Project Manager and Group Manager.)
o Clearly define, communicate and follow up on targets and expectations
o Develop the Product Area and the individuals organized within it
You will be a member of the Product Group management team and is expected to take an active part in fulfilling the objectives for the Product Group.

Who we are looking for
You have long experience of working with systems in an industry where project is an important dimension as well as from working close to customers. It is beneficial with experience of product development of standard systems.
You are a well-known, competent and recognized as a leader, strong and driven, clear and honest as well as responsive and prestige less. You have a good sense of, and respect for, people and have the ability to inspire others. Being commercially aware, result- and quality-oriented is part of your profile. You are social, open and a good communicator that easily creates contacts and relations. You are a keen decision maker and find it easy to prioritize and stand for your decisions. You work well both independently as well as with others. Leading others comes natural to you.
Language
You are fluent in English, orally and written.
