We are looking for a team member who has an extensive experienced in product development and project management and that share our enthusiasm towards marine driveline products.
As a person you enjoy working in and leading a team and have the ability to inspire your team colleagues to bring the best out of individuals as well as the organization.
You and your project team will be responsible for planning and leading the technical development through all phases, resulting in producing and delivering new products to our customers. You are responsible for the development budget and product cost. The areas of responsibilities stretch across the company and includes design, verification & validation, and manufacturing however you will also be working a lot with product planning, supply chain, aftermarket and purchasing.
Since the job consists of a net of contacts internally and externally, you need excellent relationship- and interpersonal and networking skills.
As the Product Manager you are leading the development of sustainable solutions and innovative future product and have the product ownership for marine drives with the responsibility to set the strategy for the segment and together with Product Planning form the product plan.
At the same time you will support our customers with first class products out of our global production plants as the go to person. You lead the work with a team of highly skilled designers and in close cooperation with production engineers, purchasing, suppliers and the aftermarket departments.
The Driveline department belongs to the Engineering Unit, Driveline and Electromobility and is responsible for the development and design of transmissions for Marine and Industrial applications. We are located in Gothenburg and Köping with manufacturing sites in Sweden and US. The department is today about 30 persons working in different roles.
The group is organized to have a holistic view of our products and taking care of all the different stages in the life cycle of the products - from new development projects via product maintenance to quality issues and support to the market. This approach means that you will be faced with a wide variety of tasks, from problem solving of quality issues both in the design and in production to leading the system design within a project and in a wide range of technical areas from mechanical transmission systems to electric and hydraulic systems and complete vessel questions from installation, hull strength to handling and performance characteristics. You as the Product manager are responsible for all stages for your product and function.
Your CV should contain matching qualifications and experience. You should be able to communicate in both English and Swedish and have a valid driver license.
