About the job
We are looking for a customer and business focused Product Manager, yet with a strong technological know-how, who will be responsible for our professional Battery Ride-on product portfolio.
You will be responsible for translating customer needs and expectations into requirements that can drive new product and services development. Further, you are also expected to manage the product line and maximize the sales potential (by supporting our sales companies with benefit based training and training material) and profit potential (by adding cost efficient customer value and).
As a Product Manager, Wheeled, you are expected to:
• Promote your product portfolio internally, making sure it is a vital part of our total offer.
• Define and develop the GSP product road map working with the full life cycle of products.
• Collaborate with your counterparts primarily working with Automowers, Handheld equipment, Spare Parts and Digital Services to develop a winning portfolio for the professional users, as well as accelerating sales through all applicable channels.
• Monitor and act on sales and gross profit development of the portfolio
You will also work more in depth with your product portfolio. Including in-depth knowledge on usage and maintenance:
• Customer and business understanding
• Competitor comparisons and market trends/price levels.
• Explore and initiate/monitor product tests in new and/or adjacent areas / applications.
• Responsible for product integration including branding, certification, marketing message and reference guides.
• Master Data and pricing responsibility
• Build relation with existing and possibly new key suppliers.
• Demos & Training internally and as support at external events
• Proactively support After Sales activities (technical training, data provision, new product requirement specifications, spare parts&service tools provision)
• Work actively and coordinate with other product managers the plan and priorities for -Connectivity (roadmap and requirements specification both for products and related digital services)
• Together with R&D and other product managers coordinate and develop the category technology roadmap in order to support future launches in an optimized way.
You will become the link between the end-customer and Husqvarna R&D as well as external suppliers which means:
• Develop the market and user requirements for new products
• Visit end-customers to understand their needs and requirements
• Represent the portfolio team in project meeting and be the voice of the customer
The portfolio team is expected to support a wide variety of tasks within Husqvarna division which means that you need to be able to adapt and overcome complex and challenging task.
This position includes traveling Globally approximately 10-30 days/year.

Relevant Background
• A university degree within engineering (mechanics and/or electronics)
• Work experience from product management and/or
• Extensive product development experience, preferably in project lead role(s).
• Experience and/or knowledge from green landscaping area
• Good presentation skills
• Good knowledge in the office package (excel/word/powerpoint)
• Fluent English both orally and in writing is required for the position

Your personality in combination with relevant education, and a passion of working with products will be of importance in this role.
