hela Sverige To our Product Management and Marketing organization within Business Unit Power Products we are now looking for a Product Manager. The primary purpose for a Product Manager is to oversee your assigned portfolio of products, in a similar manner as a small business owner, managing the profitably of your portfolio throughout its lifecycle.
Job Description
The Product Manager must deeply understand key stakeholder needs and translate those needs into a streamlined portfolio of products, which can be developed and commercialized into the business regions, to bring long-term value for Permobil. The Product Managercontinuously act in a long-term perspective on the strategic success of the portfolio in accordance with company goals and objectives together with the regulatory strategic KPIs.
As a Product Manager you interact with external key stakeholders including users, care-givers, dealers, clinicians and payers. Internally, you collaborate with Product Marketing Managers, Regional Business Drivers, Product Life Cycle Managers, Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain, Production Units and Finance.
Duties and responsibilities
Together with Product Marketing and Regional Business Drivers you engage in customers, clinicians, and end users to understand their needs and propose improvements to the responsible product portfolio. You create strong value propositions for translation of product messages into the business regions. You continuously develop rationales and business cases for new product proposals as well as create market requirement specifications to be used as design input in new product development projects.
As Product Manager you monitor and analyze:
the latest market trends, competitors and changes in funding regulations
volumes, integrated margins of the assigned portfolio within each market
product quality of the assigned portfolio
Other duties include to prioritize key product improvement activities (e.g. introduce new features), cost reductions and quality improvements as well as initiate phase out activities. Support product marketing in annual commercialization planning activities. Seek out and implement new and interesting ways to share Permobil's common vision of WHY we develop products.
Qualifications
To be a successful Product Manager we believe that you hold a Master degree in engineering or business management together with a minimum 3 years of working experience in either rehabilitation sector or international product management. You also need a strong business mindset targeted towards strategic portfolio management and to be fluent in English.
We believe that you are motivated by challenges and have the ability to drive through obstacles and challenges. You have the ability to influence others to move initiatives forward without having direct reports. You are also able to take on own initiatives and can develop processes that others can follow. You enjoy working in an agile environment together with the product development team.
The position is based in either Timrå or Kista, Sweden and will require international travelling.
