SICK IVP is a competence center for Machine Vision within SICK, and we perform research, product development, product management and marketing. We are currently 55 employees at Mjärdevi Science Park, Linköping.
Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:
Our 2D Vision sensors are used world-wide to solve challenging inspection tasks in all kinds of industries. We are now about to expand our 2D product line and are looking for a Strategic Product Manager for the successful Inspector portfolio. You will be responsible for both the existing product line and for coming products.
As Strategic Product Manager, you set the direction for the portfolio development. You bring refined market and customer needs to our R&D organization and you manage the product requirements in our agile development projects. You prepare the market launch and in cooperation with our global sales organization you ensure the product's success.
Din Profil:
You have a technical or business degree from higher education and several years of experience of Machine Vision or industrial sensors. You are customer oriented, have experience in business case formulation and are able to discuss and prioritize technical requirements and define specifications. Previous experience from product management for high-tech products in an industrial environment is a merit.
You have strong communication skills and as a person you are energetic, assertive and well organized. You have a genuine interest in understanding the customer and market needs and you strive continuously to be responsive and creative to gain customer satisfaction.
As Product Manager you will work in close cooperation with both international customers and with the SICK sales organization around the world. An ability and wish for frequent international travels is therefore essential. Excellent English skills are required as well as strong social and intercultural competences.
