The main responsibilities for the Product Manager Lifestyle Accessories are to define, prioritize and execute the future offer, that will contribute to drive the Polestar Brand and business in the wanted direction. The offer comprises everything from gifts to corporate dress code and clothing. As a Product Manager Lifestyle Accessories you work within guidelines from the Lifestyle collection steering group and report primarily to the Director of Customer Service. The position is in close interaction with units within Polestar like Product Design, Marketing, Brand management, Market Intelligence and Corporate Communication, and external partners.
For this role you need to have a proven ability to manage and complete projects to the highest standard under tight timescales and budgets, applying effective communication and interpersonal skills, together with a hands-on practical approach to problem solving.
Main responsibilities
• Define and update a Lifestyle Accessories strategy and product plan to ensure that future product offers are in line with Polestars Product and Brand strategies.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer/Market to secure an offer that fulfils the requirements to reach Market needs and Brand/Business objectives.
• Secure adequate supply planning, quality management and market support when it comes to supply and other market needs.
• Grow overall Brand perception and business profitability through development of new offers focusing on Polestar core Markets with target groups focused on quality, sustainability, function and design.
• Support and assist with all related Launch Activities
• Support with product related information into Marketing and Communication material
• Develop and report to Lifestyle steering group. Prepare and propose items for changed or added product content based on market and corporate needs.
Background and Competence Requirements
The desired experience comes from working with premium products, design and fashion, which brings a passion for global trends and an excellent knowledge in brand marketing and customer insights. We are looking for a person with a technical/design/marketing university degree in combination with deep understanding in product and material. Your personal skills are a high level of energy, a strong drive for results and business acumen. You are fluent in English, have strong verbal and written communication, as well as, documented leadership skills.
