The main areas for the function are Stationary threading, Oil & Gas threading and rotating threading tools in hole-making applications.
The Marketing department is looking for a Product Manager for Rotating Threading Tools with a focus on solid tools. The location for this position can be Sweden, Germany or Holland.
Key performance areas
As a Product Manager you will develop the Rotating Threading Tools product portfolio. The ambition is to develop the product area in cooperation with the recently established product centre Solid Tools located in Lottum, The Netherlands.
The position is focused on increasing product revenue, and managing profitability and relationships with the dedicated group functions, and with the following objectives:
• Grow Seco's business with rotating threading tools globally
• Create product differentiation, with added value within the application area
• Increase revenue and manage profitability
• Participate in product development projects
• Ensure continuous attention to service, delivery and customer needs
• Achieve and maintain a good level of customer product training and sales unit satisfaction
You will report to the Corporate Product Manager, Threading.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in engineering and several years' experience of the metal cutting industry. We expect you to have a proven track record of experience in metal cutting and product management or relevant sales and business development. Working experience from the specified product area is an advantage.
You are results-and-customer oriented and think strategically. You are accustomed to working both independently and with others and are happy to share your knowledge and experience. Additionally, you have strong communication skills, are used to making different types of presentations, and are good at building relationships, with the ability to create and maintain them.
