Connectivity at Scania is one of the keys in Scania "driving the shift" strategy. At EC we work with the enabling solutions with a span from OnBoard, via Telecom to the Scania OffBoard platform.
The department EC is currently implementing Safe (Scaled Agile Framework) and is looking for a senior product manager to help us drive the overall EC connectivity product portfolio. To be able to succeed you will work together with the already existing team of product owners at EC. The main purpose for implementing Safe is the need to prioritise and find synergies and dependencies between the teams.
What you will do
You will be a key figure in the EC Flow (Safe at EC) setup. The three main persons driving the Safe structure are Product Management, System Architect and the Release Train Engineer.
Your main tasks will be to ensure to own the EC product backlog. You run the product management synchronisation meetings and implement the prioritisation of objectives. The input you get is both Scania strategies, E strategies, EC strategies and team strategies. We use the weighted shortest job first methodology for prioritisation.
Who you are
We are looking for a highly experienced engineer / project manager / product owner with good structure and communication skills. You like to see things get done and you enjoy creating common goals. Agile development, continuous deployment and integration is well known to you.
You most likely have a formal degree in engineering physics, electrical engineering or computer science, or the equivalent experience. In addition you are expected to have at least 5 years' experience from working with technical products. Knowledge of the areas of cloud/ IoT/ connectivity and/or the electrical system of (heavy) vehicles is a great advantage for this role.
