During this assigment will you be hired by Wrknest and work as a consultant.
Assignment description
Our client is building a Catalog of all products from our merchants and we provide this to our end users through a number of different teams. Examples of usage of this data is Products Search where users can browse products from all our merchants, another is to enrich data within the app used for recommendations or
visualization. The team is ingesting data from different sources, both internally and externally, and the main focus is to build and maintain the pipeline that other teams can hook into to enrich or use the data. The data received is of varying quality and the task is to refine this into a coherent and easily used data set. What this refinement means has to be defined together with the downstream teams, since different
use cases needs different data that may or may not be available in the source.
Tasks and responsibilities
Ultimately, you are responsible for a valuable and viable product
You set an inspiring vision, strategy and metrics for your product on which you create buy-in and alignment throughout the organization (especially your own team)
You understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth
You have a constant and dedicated focus on your customers
You own the budget and PnL for your product
You lead and drive a cross-functional team
Required Skill-set
Experience in taking a product from concept to launch, creating product road maps, and steering technical implementation discussions
Knowledge of the e-commerce space.
Experience in working with data processing, such as data processing and data quality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English).
The team today have a first version of a pipeline set up and the group has a bold ambition so a drive to explore and come up with creative solutions is a must. The problem space is very technical in its nature so a background in data processing is helpful.
