hela Sverige As Product Manager for Operations you are accountable for the product portfolio and market analysis to create and sustain a competitive product strategy. Operations e.g. include responsibility for the HMI interface, graphics, and alarm and event functionality for ABB AbilityTM System 800xA. More specifically, you will be responsible for developing business cases, prioritization of R&D activities, and supporting sales and marketing in product promotion.
In this highly visible role, you will work closely with Global Product Line Managers. Business travels will be required. This position is located in Västerås, Sweden.
You hold a Master or Bachelor's degree, along with around five years' experience from Sales or R&D roles in industrial companies. Experience from automation is preferred.
You are a team player used to build and maintain professional networks across different business functions. We value your solid knowledge of change management and your ability to develop and implement creative business solutions. Fluency in English is a must, written and spoken alike.
Your personal attributes are vital for success. You are structured and analytic, market and customer orientated, together with an interest for finding new opportunities. It is also important that you have a strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
You will be part of Control Technologies - a successful unit within ABB Industrial Automation. The unit is responsible for the development, marketing and sale of automation products - hardware and software - and for monitoring, control and optimization. The unit has automation products for all types of industry.
