As the newest Product Manager in Klarna, you will have an opportunity to own the product strategy for Klarna?s core value proposition. Last year, our transaction volume reached ?6B and this year we received over 650,000 purchases on Black Friday alone. What drove this success? Our ability to simplify the buying experience for our merchants and our ability to provide safer, simpler, and smarter solutions for our consumers.

We accomplish this with our unique real-time underwriting and fraud detection. We take the risk from our merchants while also personalizing the credit-offering for our consumers. You will be responsible for managing these data sources in real-time ? working closely with our Credit Risk and Engineering departments to identify our consumers correctly and driving execution of our core value proposition for the Consumer Identification team.

Our ideal new colleague:

• Is eager to set goals and strategy for the Consumer Identification and Data Sources engineering team
• Has a technical background and experience with software development has experience with Agile development processes
• Has solid product management skills and experience leading products/projects focuses on execution while using data to drive decisions
• Understands how to manage expectations from several stakeholders
• Understands the business value of accurate decision making
• Experience with risk management and underwriting is a huge bonus.
