Klarna is looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager to drive conceptual and technical development of Klarna's flagship product, Klarna Checkout.

Klarna Checkout is an easy to use e-commerce checkout solution that aims to completely remove all friction involved in making a purchase online. We've just started in the Nordic markets and are expanding the product to new markets and verticals. To enable this experience we are developing a distributed purchasing platform, a front-end server and a client based on JavaScript.

The Product Manager, Checkout works closely with a team of talented engineers and product designers while working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to define a long-term strategy. This is a senior role that will have significant influence on the roadmap for all of Klarna's purchase-related product offerings.

Responsibilities
• Write requirements and high level specifications for new products using Klarna's product discovery process
• Localize Klarna Checkout to new markets working together with local Product Managers
• Negotiate and prioritize features with key stakeholders, while using data to align strategic goals and available opportunities with senior management
• Be part of the sales process with strategic merchants, ensuring the product offered matches the long term vision of Klarna's product portfolio
• Work closely with engineers to write user stories and prioritize features. The Product Manager, Checkout will own part of their backlog through Agile methods.

Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or BS degree in computer science
• Experience in the e-commerce or payments industry
• Track record of working closely with developers to build consumer facing products
• Knowledge of a programming or scripting language
• Exceptional skills in written and oral communication
• Comfortable gathering requirements and prioritizing backlogs
• Data analytics experience
• Background in creating user interfaces through wireframes and mockups.
• Familiar with Adobe products, HTML, CSS and major web standards
