Who you are
Alfa Laval has a Brazed Heat Exchanger (BHE) portfolio which is in an expansive phase with many new products and opportunities ahead. Our BHE portfolio is offered on the global market across a wide range of applications.
About the jobAs Product Manager BHE you will be driving and safe guarding the competitiveness of the BHE portfolio and ensuring that our products are our customer's first choice today and tomorrow.
To succeed on this, you review and analyze the competitiveness and fit of the BHE product portfolio from a standpoint of customer, application and industry drivers and needs, in close collaboration with Marketing, Application Development and Sales organizations. This analysis leads to new product development or product termination, as well as supply chain development and setup.
You also monitor the BHE products and take actions to secure their competitiveness during their entire life cycle, leading to pricing strategies, existing product development, supply chain development and setup.
Who are you?
Experienced engineer preferably with thorough knowledge of BHE products, applications and markets.
Marketing or Commercial experience is an advantage.
Structured and analytical person with high focus and understanding of business
Decisive in prioritization and follow up
Ability to move from information collection to analysis and decision-making
Skilled in leading cross functional teams
Good communicator and team player with strong drive and a lot of energy.
A good level of spoken and written English is required.
Practicalities The position is based in Lund (Sweden) or Alonte (Italy), and frequent travelling is required. You will report to the Head of Marketing and Product Management, and be part of a vibrant team located at both locations.
