As Product Manager you will be responsible for planning and execution of tasks related to the achievement of commercial success for our AEW&C Mission System products. This includes profitability, competitive strengths and requirements for the product, including all handling aspects during the product life cycle including sales support activities and phase out.
You will actively participate in business development of the product and support in ongoing and upcoming campaign work. You are responsible for delivering product and capability plans, product definitions for customer offers, investment plans and conducting market requirement analysis.
Main activities for a Product manager includes:

Business Plan preparation for the assigned products

Business Case preparation
*
Estimate value to customer and to Saab; i.e. Customer Business Case
*
Secure relevant end-user analysis
*
Product Life Cycle Plan preparation and updates
*
Product catalogue and commercial product structure preparation
*
Sales support
*
Product performance monitoring
Your profile
To be successful in this position you need to be a driven teamplayer with product knowledge from the AEW&C domain. Strong customer focus with good competitor and end-user understanding. Comfortable with customer discussions and negotiation as well as participation in technical design decisions.
You have the ability to motivate and engage others but also be able to organize, prioritize and take decisions to improve performance and profitability.
You have a degree in Engineering or similar and communicates fluently in Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be a part of the Product Management team for Product Unit Mission system where we work in close cooperation to support each other and the overall commercial responsibility of product contribution for AEW&C Mission system portfolio.
