hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take charge of the development of safety-critical software within our Appliance Platform team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our safety software meets all legal standards and regulatory requirements, successfully navigating the certification process. The project will involve Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, software architecture development, and comprehensive documentation, operating under a hybrid methodology that combines Agile practices with Waterfall elements due to certification needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related issues, guiding internal collaboration and acting as the go-to expert for safety matters across the team.
• Project Planning & Execution: Work closely with the team and stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and manage development activities. This includes organizing requirement analyses, FMEA sessions, design workshops, and testing phases.
• Development Oversight: Lead a development team responsible for crafting and refining embedded safety software. Oversee the creation of essential documentation required for safety certification and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Hands-On Involvement: Actively participate in testing and documentation tasks, lead workshops, and support the team in generating test reports and managing traceability matrices.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure that diverse teams and stakeholders are aligned, managing a broad scope of work and maintaining a unified vision throughout the project.
• Travel: Be prepared to travel within Europe a few times per year to visit labs and collaborate with other parts of the organization.
Requirements
• Compliance & Certification Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing compliance projects and leading certification processes, ensuring products meet all necessary regulatory standards.
• Project Management Proficiency: Strong understanding of both traditional project management and Agile development methodologies, with experience in balancing the two approaches effectively.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Extensive experience in requirement analysis, software design, and testing, including the creation and management of traceability matrices, FMEA, and comprehensive test reports.
• Industry Experience: Previous work in sectors such as automotive or medical, where managing certifications and adhering to strict standards is critical.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards a common goal.
