About the role
As a Product Manager, you'll lead the development of our on-device home energy management system, focusing on connectivity and hardware integration. Your primary goal will be to own product development, ensuring it meets the needs of customers and service/installer staff. You'll iterate on the software stack to provide an evolving and superior customer experience, minimise environmental impact, and maintain economic efficiency.What you'll be doing
Set clear requirements for the underlying hardware platform.
Navigate a team of software engineers, informed by market insights, commercial viability, and technical feasibility.
Collaborate closely with our industrialisation, mechanics, and electronics teams to bring the electronics platform to life with software.
Work with other software teams to integrate, optimise, and adapt control and telemetry software on our developed electronics.
What you'll bring to the role
Solid experience in product management with agile methodologies.
Experience developing embedded systems or hardware-close software, preferably with electronics and/or in the energy systems sector.
A solution-oriented mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to make decisions in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
Strong leadership abilities to excite, inspire, and motivate internal and external collaborators.
Experience building strong relationships with partners.
Experience collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative user data.
