At ABB Metallurgy we produce electromagnetic stirrers to the steel and aluminum industries. Primary customers are steel and aluminum plants.
In this important role, you will be a key-player in developing and managing the product portfolio with a high focus on sustainability. You will report to the Technology manager and be part of the extended management team.
Your responsibilities
Develop the product offering together with sales and product experts.
Analysis of market and competitors together with Global Sales.
Define and update product strategies and propose new project to R&D.
Develop and update roadmap for product portfolio.
Product positioning, value propositions and input to market communication.
Drive the sustainability work within our current product portfolio.
Trade compliance and product classification for product portfolio.
Drive smaller R&D projects within existing portfolio.
Your background
An Engineering degree from university or similar or experience as a product manager where you have a great interest in sustainability, digitalization and portfolio development.
You are solution-oriented, self-driven and curious.
You have a good sense of ownership in your tasks and are able to work both independently as well as in a team.
Strong collaboration, communication and relationship-building skills.
Fluency in English, spoken and written.
