We are looking for a bright and driven person to join our TV & Media Product Management team. Telenor is rapidly heading towards the digital future and we are looking for people with a natural proactive drive who wants to make a difference.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of our TV & Media Product Management team, and have the specific responsibility for making sure we create customer value by making decisions in a data-oriented way. This means we are counting on you to take a holistic approach to TV & Media specific data, to work with our data platform experts, with our business managers and the product development teams to assure data capabilities as well as analyze trends and create predictive models for usage and behavior. The key responsibility for the unit includes:
* Developing, maintaining, communicating and implementing product roadmap to support the brand concept roadmap
* Secure profitability on product level
* Secure E2E customer experience of TV & Media products including follow-up on quality, consumption and customer behavior
Your key responsibilities include:
* Be our gateway towards our analytics experts
* Assist your product management colleagues to gather data for decision making
* Consolidate business intelligence from the TV & Media market and create
* Facilitate reporting on key trends in product usage and product profitability
* Facilitate development of our TV & Media platforms to ensure we have appropriate data for business decisions
As a product manager you join a team of eight highly talented people with a lot of experience from the industry. While you are our front runner on business intelligence, you will spend a lot of time in teams participating in different cross functional projects.
Who are you
You are a star and you know it and we know it. Now, how can we turn this into value for our customers, which can be monetized? You are on top of the latest trends in the online world and what's cool in media. You are passionate about TV & Media and can see how continuous development of data translates into opportunities for Telenor. You are an experienced and multi-skilled Product Manager who loves creating world class products, always putting our customer first. We believe that you have a master degree in engineering or business administration (or equivalent) with strong academic results. If you don't, prove to us that this is not relevant. You have a long background in the telecom industry in general and from TV & Media in particular.
To succeed as a product manager we also believe that you:
* Have the ability to manage both strategically and tactically tasks in a high energy, fast paced environment
* Have strong communication skills with the ability to influence others and impact decision-making, enjoy public speaking or presentation, and can evangelize our products both internally as well as externally
* Have a flexible and innovative mindset and are willing to find new ways to deliver on your goals in case you get stuck and are always striving to do things in a smarter and more efficient way
* Is a team-player who believes in collaboration
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
* You have a sharp strategic mind-set but you also love being hands-on to deliver our products to the market. You always strive to make our product and services even better!
