The Role of the Product Manager - Virtual Interlining:
Your primary responsibility will be to own and manage all aspects of our Virtual Interlining for Airlines and Through Baggage products.
Responsibilities
Lead and deliver high-impact cross-functional strategic initiatives related, but not limited, to our VI for airlines and Through Baggage products.
Be the business owner and subject matter expert for VI for airlines and Trough Baggage.
Plan, organize, execute, monitor and support every part of these initiatives.
Work closely with external stakeholders to understand and anticipate client and user needs.
Forge strong business relationships with Airlines and other players in the industry. Lead regular check-in meetings with a focus on growing collective partnerships.
Collaborate with a diverse group of internal stakeholders such as Technical Product Owners, Project Managers and other business leads to develop a common plan.
Establish a shared vision for every project, ensure alignment across all stakeholders and guarantee the support of every business unit.
Identify and document all the requirements needed for each phase of a project.
Ensure that milestones and deliverables are executed in a timely manner according to plan.
Monitor progress, identify risks and work to resolve roadblocks.
Keep internal stakeholders accountable for quality output and product delivery.
Gather and analyze data to make recommendations that will improve our VI for airlines and Through Baggage products.
Understand the flights industry, learn who the different stakeholders are and conduct market research to support current initiatives and identify new business opportunities.
Support new revenue streams to distribute Virtual Interlining through untapped channels.
Own and ensure that project documentation is up to date and well maintained.
Monitor a diverse range of KPIs such as revenue, cost, bookability, failures etc.

Requirements
University degree, MBA or equivalent in Business Administration or similar experience.
3-5 years of professional experience in business development, project management or similar area.
Strong organizational skills are essential (documentation, prioritization, resource allocation).
Strategic mindset, with the ability to see the bigger picture and prioritize accordingly.
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict management skills.
Experience in managing complex problems end to end.
Experience working in digital and technical environments. Digitally Savvy.
Output and delivery driven; experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with significant context switching.
Self-driven and proactive.
Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills.
Passion for understanding and solving complex problems.
Excellent sense of accountability and ownership.
