The products in the Scania Accessories portfolio is based on the request from market, and cover a wide assortment in the areas Styling, Comfort, Safety and Security. We are now looking for our next Product Manager within the area of Styling and Comfort.
Who we are
Vehicle Accessories is part of the product management division within the Parts and Service organisation (KP). The mission of the team of Vehicle Accessories is to develop extra equipment products that enhances our vehicles and creates extra value to our customers.
We often describe ourselves as a creative team with entrepreneurial skills. We have a lot of interfaces within the organisation such as R&D, purchasing, marketing department, our central warehouse and our distributors. We work with both product development and sales, in cooperation with other departments.
The product managers in this team has a great potential in developing the portfolio according to their ideas and ambitions.
As Product Manager for Styling and Comfort you will:
• Be responsible for the product portfolio within the areas of Styling and Comfort and its long-term roadmap
• Develop the portfolio and set the plan for future product development in line with our strategic direction
• Work with a global market to understand industry trends and customer requirements which you transform to business cases
• Work close with marketing and communication, area managers and distributors to position our offer in the market
We believe that you:

• Are able to manage short-term operational tasks without losing the long-term strategic perspective
• Have the ability to understand customer requirements and translate them to product visions
• Have an analytical and structured approach to problem solving
• Show interest in technological development in which you are able to identify business opportunities
• Are fluent in English
Experience from working at a dealer and/or distributor is a merit, together with a strong sense and experience in commercial sales.
