We currently have an open position at our office in Tumba, Sweden
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Product Manager will be responsible for the project management and completion of new product development projects, as well as coordinating activities related to product maintenance. The position will work closely with the Sales and Manufacturing teams.
• Responsible for project management of new product developments.
• Responsible for coordinating and allocating engineering resources
to product development and product maintenance tasks.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining applicable design
procedures/routines.
• Responsible for managing Steridose design and product
maintenance group.
• Work on conceptual design and detailed design of process
components.
• Provide technical support to Sales and customers over the phone
and required root cause/failure analysis reports.
• Provide support to Manufacturing with questions related to new
developments and product maintenance.
• Some traveling expected.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• MSc. in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Desirable 5+ year experience in a similar position in rotating
equipment (pumps and/or mixers).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes of machined metal parts.
• Proficient in 3D cad systems, preferably in SolidWorks.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Self-starter.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Previous experience dealing with Project Management of new
developments.
• Desirable industry experience (design of process components for
bio-pharmaceutical applications).
