Product Management is the function within Connected Solutions that is responsible to optimize the plans for development of new services and technologies. We work in tight collaboration with the Volvo Group Business Areas and Group Functions. We drive Connected Solutions product strategy and roadmaps, enterprise architecture frameworks including cyber security, secure execution of deliveries and manage supplier relationships.
The role
We are now looking for a Product Manager with a focus on Product Intelligence within Product Planning. You will lead and execute the work to secure that Connected Solution and Volvo Group have an up to date view of what is ongoing in the connected eco-system. Feed VGCS and the rest of Volvo Group with, through cross-functional work, product intelligence with regards to our products and services i.e. the connected services. You will also be part of a dedicated team reaching for the future and jointly drives the product strategy and development plan in relation to the VGCS product portfolio. It is both a strategic and operational role that requires a cross-functional way of working.
The position reports to the Director Product Planning within the Product Management function at Connected Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
As Product Manager, your key responsibilities are:
Drive and execute VGCS Product Intelligence work
Participate in creating the VGCS product strategy
Actively participate in forming the organization, set objectives and establish way of working
Perform benchmarking with competitor solutions and services
Collaborate with external partners and participate and/or lead make/buy analysis
Collaborate with functions within Connected Solutions as well as relevant teams from whole Volvo Group to enable successful execution
Participate in prioritization and propose Connected Solution development plan
Location & Timeline
Location for this position is in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, Sweden from where we expect you are able to work with adequate working permits. Competence Profile & Qualifications
We believe the successful candidate has operational experience from working in a global business environment. You are a social person with strong relationship capabilities and enjoy working with others in flexible team constellations. You have a passion for business, technology and an interest in people.
To qualify for this role, you should have experience from:
Knowledge and solid understanding of our industry and our customers' business
A global and agile mindset with strong customer focus
Ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred: Experience from developing product platforms strategy and roadmap for development, efficiently balancing performance, cost and return on investment
Preferred: Experience and proven track record in service planning and service portfolio management
Preferred: Leadership experience and proven track record of leading leaders and teams
You have a Master's degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. Working proficiency in the English and Swedish (merit) languages, speech and writing, is a requirement. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
Frequent travel is expected to fairs, vendors, customers and stakeholders.
