hela Sverige Connected Solutions is a newly established unit that will lead the development of the Volvo Group's connected solutions and supporting capabilities to further strengthen the Volvo Group position and competitiveness in the area.
As Product Manager you will be responsible for the overall development plan in relation to Core Platform products and services. You will secure that Connected Solutions have an updated view of existing Business Capabilities for Connected Solutions products within your area as well as creating the roadmap and optimize plan for development to maximize return on investments.
It is both a strategic and operational role that requires a cross-functional way of working.
The position reports to the Director Product Planning within the Product management function at Connected Solutions
Key Responsibilities
As Product Manager, your key responsibilities are:
• Lead budget process for development, maintenance and operation of platform and services, efficiently manage prioritization and make recommendations
• Manage Budget allocation and follow up for Development Activities
• Participate in creating the product platform strategy
• Lead Prioritization and propose service development plan for Services and Technologies within the Platform Core Area
• Drive life cycle cost follow-up in operation for services
• Secure updated description of Platform Business capabilities and Services within the Platform Core Area
• Owner of Main Backlog for Products within your responsibility
• Actively participate in forming the organization, set objectives and establish way of working
• Perform benchmarking with competitor solutions and services
• Participate in Steering Committees for projects within your responsibility
• Collaborate with functions within Connected Solutions as well as relevant commercial and engineering teams within the Volvo Group to enable successful execution

Competence Profile & Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have experience from:
• Experience from developing product platforms strategy and roadmap for development, efficiently balancing performance, cost and return on investment
• Experience and proven track record in service planning and service portfolio management
• Interest in and solid understanding of our industry and our customers' business
• Experience from working with product development in an agile development organization
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Leadership experience and proven track record of leading leaders and teams
• Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of a leadership team
• Excellent professional skills and ability to work in a fast paced, multicultural and diverse environment
