We are now looking for a Product Manager to work in the Payments product area. Your primary responsibility will be to strengthen the suite of products, tools, and services that help us ensure Epidemic Sounds journey to soundtrack the world.

How you will make an impact

As the Payments PM at Epidemic Sound, you're passionate about payments and ready to be the payments evangelist within the company. You bring an understanding of how money moves between the end user and payment processing partners, including payment gateways, processors, acquirers, card networks, and issuers. You'll improve and innovate our end-to-end payments processing capabilities, including new payment methods, acquirers and UX. You are also on top of the latest developments in the payment industry and understand how leading merchants leverage the best tools to manage payments in a effective way

We believe in autonomy and a strong product focus where you as a Product Manager are the organizational linchpin driving development forward. We believe you achieve this by clearly understanding your users and the market, the constraints of our business, and by strategically and tactically making plans to reach our ambitious goals. You own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and product KPIs for your product area.

You report to the Product Director of the Growth domain and will work closely together with other Product Managers. You will join a fast-growing product team consisting of skilled Product Managers, Product Designers, and User Researchers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for our payment partners, making sure we have the right partners for us to be able to reach our goals. Lead talks and negotiations with partners dealing with payment services.

• Researching the best solutions on the payments market, both when it comes to PSPs and payment methods.

• Optimization of the conversion rates related to online payments and recurring payment

• Automating payment processes as well as related admin, for example chargebacks

• Be on top of Reporting and analyzing.

• Assuring products and services compliance

Who you are

We believe you are a self-motivated product management professional with a strong sense of ownership whom we can learn from in a fast-growing product organization. You take a data-informed experimental and incremental approach to product development but can also think big and challenge everything to make bold bets and create amazing experiences for our users.

You're able to navigate through technical and regulatory constraints while simultaneously distilling and communicating complex subject matter to payments and non-payments stakeholders.

We believe you are/have:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Product Management within a fast-growing product-focused company

• Experience in the payment area. Worked with user facing payment flows and various payment method integrations in different markets.

• Experience from subscription businesses is a plus

• Experience working in a highly technical environment

• Skilled in Agile and PM methodologies

• A proven collaborator and communicator

• Fluent in English, verbal and written
