The mission of Product Information at Sandvik Coromant is to leverage digital product information to improve our internal processes and differentiate our customer offer. We now have a unique opportunity for a driven Product Manager with excellent networking skills to take on an exciting new role, with the aim of establishing and implementing our new branding strategy for packaging and labeling. This position offers a great deal of flexibility and ownership of the mission.
This position is located in Sandviken, and international travel is a natural part of the job.
Key performance areas
In this position, you are responsible for establishing our ways of working with packaging and labeling throughout the global organization. A key aspect of this role is to secure correct and accurate information, processes and IT support. You set a strategy for streamlining our offer and how to implement this in the business, including packaging requirements, associated business rules and which package and label to use with each product. Stakeholder management is a major part of this position, as you develop a functional and effective strategy going forward. You work in close collaboration with product managers, marketing and purchasing to secure processes and availability, as well as proactively across product units, collaborating about new requirements and implementation of the new strategy.
We are looking for someone with a degree in Industrial Economics, IT or similar field, or with the equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. You have insight into product management and information management, together with a solid understanding of product lifecycle management and change management within a manufacturing industry. Experience from packaging and/or labeling is also an advantage in this position. We work in a truly international environment and your skills in English are excellent, both written and verbal, and knowledge of Swedish is highly beneficial.
