As a Product Manager for automated forklifts at Toyota Material Logistics Solutions you will manage the prioritization and the implementation of the roadmap. As product manager you are responsible for the lifecycle management of the automated forklifts. Stakeholder management is key in this role. In addition to your role as Product Manager for automated forklifts you have an important role as member of the Solution Management Team for Automation - contributing to the overall Solution portfolio and roadmap.
You will be a key part of the digitalization of the intra-logistic business by taking advanced products to the market.
Occasional travel within Europe will be needed in this role.
The position is based either in Mjölby or in Gothenburg. If based in Gothenburg there will be frequent travels to Mjölby where the production site is located.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect, maintain and analyse internal and external customer requirements
• Investigate, select, and drive the development of the product in line with the company's needs
• Benchmark the product with state of the art technology and industry trends
• Create competitor analysis
• Create and maintain product roadmap, agreed with stakeholders
• Present roadmap in governance boards
• Communicate roadmap to market and sales offices
• Prioritize and plan products and releases derived from road map as input for product owners, project managers and development,
• Act as an ordering function for R&D, Auto Solutions and external suppliers
Your profile
As a person, you have strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers and building relationships. You are used to working with agile R&D departments and being a good internal network builder. To be successful in this position it's important to be a promoter of knowledge sharing and to reuse best practices.
A relevant university degree in engineering, computer science, or product development is desirable. Preferably you have at least 3 years of relevant work experience within product management. You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English, spoken as well as written. Software knowledge and experience of SAFe is a big merit.
