About MAG (in brief!)
At MAG Interactive we make mobile games that feel good. As a part of this fun and dynamic industry, it's our mission to spread joy to players around the world. With over 350 million downloads globally, we credit our success to our awesome colleagues and we hope you'll join the team!

The role - Product Manager
We're looking for a Product Manager to join our multidisciplinary Game Operations team, focused on improving the performance and long-term success of our live games.
Using player and game data, you'll identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention and monetisation. This could mean optimising events, refining pricing and rewards, balancing the game economy or improving existing features.
You'll work with our game teams, data, tech and tools teams to turn insights into action, test ideas and to prioritise the opportunities with the greatest impact.
Our Game Operations team is relatively new, so you'll have the opportunity to bring your experience and help shape how we approach LiveOps and game optimisation across MAG.

About you
You've already worked successfully on a live F2P mobile game. You understand how to use data, LiveOps, events and economy design to influence player behaviour and improve engagement, retention and monetisation.
You enjoy digging into the numbers, understanding the why behind player behaviour and turning those insights into ideas you can test and measure.
You understand the balance between commercial performance and player experience, and know how to improve results without losing sight of what makes a game fun and rewarding.
You're curious about the wider F2P market, enjoy sharing your knowledge and ideas, and are excited by the opportunity to help shape how we do things at MAG.

What you'll be doing
Dig into game and player data to spot opportunities to improve engagement, retention and revenue.

Take a hands-on approach to optimising features, events, pricing, rewards and game economies.

Plan and refine event calendars, using results and learnings to continuously improve performance and to share improvements across other games in our portfolio.

Turn insights into action by forming hypotheses, testing ideas and measuring their impact.

Build and prioritise a clear product roadmap based on player value, business impact and effort.

Work closely with the wider team to design and deliver impactful updates, taking ownership of ideas from opportunity through to results.

Stay curious about the F2P market, competitor games and emerging trends, bringing new ideas and learnings back to the team.

Collaborate closely with other teams such as BI, QA, Core and game teams.

Help shape our growing Game Operations team and build a playbook of tools, features and best practices that can be shared across MAG.

Your skills and experience
Live F2P experience: You've worked hands-on with a successful live casual mobile game with millions of downloads and understand what drives players to engage, return and invest in a game.

Data-driven: You're confident using game performance, player behaviour and revenue data to spot opportunities and make decisions.

LiveOps & events: You have experience planning, scheduling and optimising in-game events to improve participation, engagement and revenue.

Game economies: You understand how currencies, rewards, pricing, localisation and progression can influence player behaviour, while keeping the experience fun and rewarding.

Driven and hands-on: You like turning ideas into action, taking ownership and seeing things through to understand their impact.

Curious: You naturally ask questions, explore what could work better and keep a close eye on the F2P market and competitor games.

Product & strategic thinking: You can build and prioritise a roadmap based on player value, commercial impact and effort, while connecting product decisions to wider business goals.

Collaborative: You enjoy sharing your knowledge, challenging ideas constructively and working across disciplines to find the best solution.

Comfortable shaping the unknown: You're excited by joining a relatively new team where not everything is already defined and you can help shape how we work.
