We are now looking for a Product Manager to join our expanding Linköping development site.
WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
Our vision is to contribute to a smarter and safer world by providing market leading end-to-end (E2E) surveillance solutions. Our E2E solutions are built around our own video management solutions, AXIS Camera Station and AXIS Companion, but the functionality extends beyond that.
The End-to-End Solutions team has global product management responsibility for Axis End-to-End Solutions for Surveillance. The team consists of product managers, product specialists and other roles that together manage the entire life cycle of our solutions - from strategic planning to tactical activities, go to market, and maintenance.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?
As Product Manager you will be an important link between the market and the development organization in Linköping, where you will be based. You will have a double role, working close to the development projects in Linköping and working close to your Product Management colleagues in Lund.
You will from an offering and marketing perspective be responsible for software products, cloud services and functions developed in Linköping that are part in our different offerings from Axis.
As Product Manager it is important that you enjoy spending time in the market to understand the needs. You will have high focus on understanding the installers and end users of our solutions to be able to add additional value to the products/functions you manage.
You will work in a team of product managers and product specialists that are responsible for Axis End-to-End Solution for Surveillance. Within R&D you will work with System Architects to define the requirements and with Engineering Managers to plan roadmap and future development. You will also work with our Global Product Managers to assist in the go-to-market strategy and help our sales and marketing understand the key benefits, and target customer.
We travel to strengthen relations but focus on digital media to become efficient. This position requires regular visits to Lund and sometimes staying overnight. As market insights of your own are essential you need additional days of travelling in the global market every year.
High level list of responsibilities:

Develop deep understanding of the competition and market needs
*
Take an active part in market and sales activities to promote our solutions
*
Inform and train the sales force at solution and function launches
*
Develop the roadmap for your products/services and functions to meet and fulfill the strategy and market needs
*
Drive new functions and products/services according to the roadmap. Guide, prioritize and assist in the daily development work
*
Coordinate your solution and functions ambitions and initiatives with the Global Product Managers responsible for the offering in which your deliverables are a part.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a person with:
*
A technical university degree who has at least 10 years of working experience with at least a few years' experience as product manager for software products.
*
A genuine interest in business and market dynamics and documented experience of working with solutions close to the market.
*
Great social skills with the ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts.
*
A structured way of solving tasks and issues, yet with a flexible mindset and always open to change.
*
Skills in selling and driving your ideas using a combination of different methods.
*
Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.
In addition to this we believe that you will be successful in this role if you have
*
Technical knowledge about Axis software solutions and cameras.
*
Technical knowledge about Video Management Systems.
*
Knowledge of software development processes and good understanding from networks and integrated solutions.
*
Experience from cloud-based software solutions.
*
Interest in and experience of user interface design

Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering, sales support and professional services. This includes product, service and roadmap management for device capabilities, device management, software, analytics and end-to-end solutions. In addition, we offer the regions project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. End-to-End Solutions is one out of five groups within Solution Management.
