You will be part of the Technology Planning group in our Product Management organization where we drive the vision, strategy and development prioritizations for our products. We do this by understanding our customers and combining that with our own vision, input from internal/external stakeholders and a solid market understanding in general. Together with industry, application and cloud planning teams we manage the future or our products, which we then work intimately with our Product Development organization to turn into reality, and with our Product Marketing team to share with the world.

Your opportunity and responsibility
As our product manager for developer experience you will be responsible for the vision, strategy and development priorities needed to put the industry's best experience in front of developers. As we work extensively with model driven architecture and domain specific languages this means serving multiple types of developers: business consultants configuring our applications in no-code or low-code environments; partner developers building integrations using our APIs; and our own developers building applications with modeling and domain specific languages.
You will work together with customers and partners as well as our support, development and consulting teams to understand their development needs today and dreams for the future. You will also be a spokesperson evangelizing our DX to the world.
As a Product Manager - Developer Experience at IFS you will be expected to:
• Maintain a solid understanding of state-of-the-art development experiences, from full stack to no-code environments
• Work with customers and partners to understand their DX realities and dreams
• Work with IFS product development, support, and consulting to understand their DX realities and dreams
• Co-ordinate vision and strategy for DX with areas such as user experience, platforms & architecture and application life-cycle
• Work intimately with IFS product development to bring the strategy to life
• Communicate and evangelize the vision and strategy as well as the current state and positioning, internally and externally

To be successful
To be a successful product manager for developer experience you have a background as developer yourself and a passion for creating great experiences. You understand that for us, our partners and customers, development is about putting a great solution in the hands of our customers as quickly and easily as possible, and then maintaining that solution throughout an evergreen application life-cycle that span years or even decades.
You enjoy interacting with customers, partners and other stakeholders and have an ability to translate complex and sometimes conflicting input into a clear and practical way forward. You keep your eye steadfast on the long-term vision whilst maneuvering tactically in the short term. You communicate effectively, both live and in writing.
If you also have experience of working with IFS's products, that's a bonus.
