What we offer

Now we are in the search for a dedicated colleague for the ART Deceleration who will work as Product

Manager for the following Product Owner areas:
* Modulation - the mechatronic brake modulation system including both hardware and software
* Foundation - the mechanical system of callipers, brake discs and brake pad
* Pedals - the acceleration, clutch and brake pedal
* Installation - brake pipes, brake fluid and actuation through traditional brake boosters
* Attribute braking- brake CAE, NVH, performance and certification

The ART (Agile Release train) Deceleration, part of the Solution Vehicle Motion & Climate within Product and Quality at Volvo Car Group, are now looking for committed and collaborative colleagues. The ART Deceleration is responsible for the delivery of the complete systems that make us leading within Driving Experience Braking.


What you will do
* Responsible for content and priorities for the ART Program Backlog. Responsible for identifying customer needs, prioritizing features, and developing the program/ART Vision and Roadmap
* Accept and approve completion of Features, as well as develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap.'
* You work closely with stakeholders, customers, other ARTs and solution trains to understand needs,you split Capabilities /Epics and prioritize Features and Enablers.
* You work with System Architects and Product Owners to understand and prioritize the work within the ART.
* You work with Epic Owners to develop the business case for Epics that affect your ART, and understand and support portfolio artifacts like budgets, Strategic Themes and Business Cases.
* You are part of the team of the Solution Manager's team, representing the ART

Do you fit with the profile?

We are looking for a person who can be a role model for both leaders and employees by putting the needs of others first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible. You are structured and comfortable with defining work plans and coordinating it with other stakeholders, as well as having the ability to set direction of future vision. Furthermore, we believe you are a self-motivated leader of technical development, but also someone able to build a strong Volvo Cars culture including continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

* Master of Science or equivalent work life experience and technical knowledge in the area of Vehicle Hardware, preferably within braking and related attributes
* Leadership experience from development of functions, systems, attributes and components in the area of automotive engineering
* A strong degree of business acumen in combination with the technical understanding of your area
