As a Product Manager - Cloud Transformation (m/f/x), you will own our cloud journey, from strategizing to developing and building a new secure ecosystem. In addition, you will drive the transformation of G+D's existing products, moving them to the cloud and building integrated, high-performing, future-proof products and solutions. Furthermore, you will support standardization activities.
Your Tasks:
Translate the business vision into product visions by understanding the market, customers, competitors, standards, regulations, technology, and trends
Develop, own, and execute the product strategy, ensuring long-term, sustainable business models for your product
Managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and operation
Create product concepts, manage the product backlog, create roadmaps, and coordinate project and release plans according to agile development methods in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across the organization
Decide on requirement implementation priorities and review implemented requirements regarding market acceptance and customer value
Ensure product development and growth initiatives are successfully executed to meet market, technical, financial, and schedule requirements
Active participation in standardization and working groups related to, e.g., GSMA Standards
Who are you?:
University or master's degree in engineering, economics, or computer science
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in product management or a related position in software engineering, professional services, or solution architecture in the IT, Software, or Telecommunications industry
Proven product management experience in software solutions for the B2B segment (SaaS, Cloud Services)
• Experience in a cloud environment, implementing cloud infrastructure solutions, containerization, and/or continuous integration and deployment
• Experience in at least one of the major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• You are curious to learn and have fun using new technologies.
• Experience in active participation with certification and standardization bodies is a plus.
• A self-motivated person interested in being a part of a multicultural and cross-disciplinary team
• You feel exceptionally comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts and are flexible and willing to travel.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus.
