But now we want to be even better! We're looking for a Product Manager for our Business Unit Brazed and Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers. So, what are you going to do today?
Who you are
Alfa Laval BU BFB has a wide product portfolio of heat exchangers which is in an expansive phase with many new products and opportunities ahead. Our product portfolio is offered on the global market across a wide range of applications.
About the jobAs Product Manager you will be driving and safe guarding the competitiveness of our product portfolio and ensuring that our products are our customer's first choice today and tomorrow.
To succeed with this, you review and analyze the competitiveness and fit of our product portfolio from a customer, application, and industry perspective. The latter in close collaboration with Marketing, Application Development and Sales organizations. This analysis will lead to new product developments or product phase-outs and supply chain development.
You continuously follow up on our products and take necessary actions to secure their competitiveness during their entire life cycle, leading to pricing strategies, existing product development, supply chain development and setup.
Who are you?
Experienced engineer preferably with thorough knowledge of heat exchanger products, applications and markets.
Marketing/commercial experience is an advantage.
Structured and analytical person with an understanding of business
Decisive in prioritization and follow up
Ability to move from information collection to analysis and decision-making
Skilled in leading cross functional teams
Good communicator and team player with strong drive and a lot of energy.
A good level of spoken and written English is required.
Practicalities The position is based in Lund (Sweden) or Alonte (Italy), and frequent travelling is required. You will report to the Head of Marketing and Product Management, and be part of a vibrant team located in both locations.

What you know
• Master of Science or equivalent qualification in manufacturing or supply chain. - Fluent English is a pre-requisite, French is a must.

As Industrial Project Manager, you are responsible for all the components that make it possible to carry out a project: definition of scope, budget and planning, management of technical choices, team management, change management, risk studies, communication, reporting, presentations to the management committee.
