The main goal for our Product Management function is to ensure and maintain a competitive product portfolio. We are now strengthening our organization and looking for a product management specialist within turning tools to be based in Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
As a product management specialist you have a key role in all stages of the product life cycle and are responsible for developing a product strategy for a given area that ensures a competitive and profitable product offering in line with our business strategy.
You will be responsible for the introduction of new products and for defining technical marketing and training requirements to support the product offer. The work is conducted in a global network and in key markets to develop knowledge about the product's application area, understand customer needs, gather market requirements and forecast future trends. Product projects will be coordinated through the development department, supply units and external partners. In some areas you will also lead your own projects.

The position includes traveling.
Your profile
You have a university degree in engineering or professional experience in machining and manufacturing. We expect you to have a genuine technical understanding and strong business interest. Experience of marketing in a global environment is advantageous.
As a person you are self-motivated, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. You are creative and open to change, with the ability to share your knowledge with others and to prioritize tasks. The position involves a number of international contacts and business travel and, therefore, fluent spoken and written English is a requirement.
