Your future team - Fixed Cameras Imaging
You will join a small, dedicated team of imaging engineers focused on adapting and fine-tuning Axis' latest image platform algorithms for new products. Our work is largely project-based and involves close collaboration with many different disciplines, including firmware, mechanics, electronics, and production technology. Together, we bring future Axis cameras to life.
Your role
We are looking to strengthen our ability to adapt the Axis imaging platform to specific market use cases. With traffic surveillance being a key growth area for Axis, your main responsibility will be to provide our imaging engineers with the best possible platform for future traffic cameras.
To succeed in this role, you will work closely with other imaging engineers within Fixed Cameras Imaging and our Core Tech Imaging teams. Together, you will identify which parts of the imaging platform should be adapted for traffic use cases and drive the implementation of these changes. You will also contribute directly to product development by taking responsibility for image tuning and image-related issues in future camera projects when needed.
You will be part of a small, focused team with a shared goal: creating the best possible traffic surveillance cameras.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who enjoys developing innovative products and wants to work with image technology in a cross-functional environment. You have a few years of relevant work experience, a genuine interest and a master's degree, in areas such as physics, mathematics, computer science, imaging, or electronics.
It is considered a merit if you have professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Image algorithms
* Software development
* C++/C or Python in a Linux environment
* Data analysis, signal processing, and image enhancement techniques
* Optical assemblies and CMOS sensors
Practical experimental work through technical hobbies, academic projects, or professional experience is also considered a plus.
