Product Group Insulation and Components (PG I&C) is one out of six PGs in Business Unit Transformers. PG I&C consists of some 20+ units with many product lines. The product portfolio is broad with a wide range of products when it comes to physical size as well as voltage and current. We have operations in 13 countries worldwide and have some 2500 employees.

Tasks: In this role you are globally accountable for the marketing and sales activities worldwide. You should ensure profitable growth by leveraging PG global marketing team and multi sales channels in coordination with the unit sales forces. You should also drive and ensure Implementation of relevant commercial processes in the PG. Development and implementation of the Marketing & Sales strategy for the PG is another important area of responsibility. You will ensure the development and implementation of Marketing & Sales activities in the framework of the Product Group strategy to ensure a profitable business and growth

Achieve the annual Order Received volume and Gross Margin profitability target

Participate in the development and implementation of Product Group strategies as a member of management.

Drive the implementation of the full product portfolio in the markets taking channels, profitable portfolio mix and market potential into account

Continuous tracking of global market intelligence, including changing customer requirements, mergers and acquisitions, market price development, market share information and strategic competitor initiatives

Identify opportunities by market segments, channel and service product lines (white spot analysis) based on prices, market size and share

Interact with OEMS and end-users fully deploying the portfolio, leveraging ABB?s channels to the market and Global Product Management

Continuously develop, train and coach the marketing and sales resources, ensuring an optimal deployment in the market

Leverage market information to drive a reliable business planning and as well as the development of products and competitor behaviors

Implement an efficient sales budget planning, target setting and controlling process for the Product Group to ensure the Orders Received

Deploy global marketing and sales tools like CCP, Nextra and MIS

Requirements: To feel comfortable in this role, you hold a University degree in either a technical or business /economical field and you have approximately 10-15 years of relevant job experience. We also value experience of identifying new opportunities to develop new service products and you will be comfortable working cross-border in a global context. It is crucial that you have demonstrable first-class communication skills in a multi-cultural and multinational environment and are self-driven with the ability to influence without having direct line authority. You also have a strategic view of the market and can identify forthcoming trends thanks to your experience from developing different channels and routes to market. You are a market professional leader with substantial global ABB experience and you need to have product know-how in transformer/component business. Apply at www.abb.com
